This page summarizes the technical details regarding the Process Control 2021 conference, which is held on June 1–4, 2021 as a virtual event.
Please note that all the times in the conference programme refer to Central European Summer Time (CEST, UTC+2).
Virtual conference lobby
The conference virtual space can be accessed for the registered participants through Conference Management System: https://cms.process-control.sk
To log in, use the same login credentials as you used when registering or when submitting your contribution. Once logged in, you will find everything necessary at the tab Conference (available from May 31, 2021):

This features an overview of the entire programme (technical and social), links to the info on the papers presented in the sessions, and provides access to the conference sessions (Zoom links for lectures, dedicated space for poster presentations). - Detailed Programme

There is a dedicated Slack workspace, where you can ask your questions online.
Live technical sessions: plenary lectures, semi-plenary lectures, lectures
The live part of the conference runs in a single-track fashion. Due to this setup, each day of the conference runs in a single dedicated Zoom room (including social activities). This means that only one Zoom link/room is active per day. We hope that this makes the access to the conference comfortable.
The audience in the rooms will be allowed to ask questions and exchange with the authors on the presentations.
It is strongly advised to test your audio, which can be done in the audio settings available in Zoom preferences or in the Zoom room directly.
- 15 min before the programme of the day starts:
A dedicated technical assistant starts the virtual room. - 10 min before the session:
The session chairperson and the authors of the presentations should connect to the virtual room. - The session setup:
The session chairperson introduces the speaker and asks to run his/her pre-recorded presentation. - Broadcast of the presentation:
A technical assistant broadcasts the pre-recorded video presentation of the paper. The participants may, during the broadcast, post written comments or questions in the Chat. - Discussions at the end of a presentation:
The session chairperson as well as the author of the presentation turn their camera on. The session chairperson starts and moderates the discussion. He/she may read questions from the Chat, ask for oral questions from the audience or make his/her own comments or questions. During the discussion, participants can use the “Raise Hand” functionality to indicate they wish to ask a question.
Poster sessions
Poster sessions are asynchronous and can be attended at any time on June 1–4.
We invite the attendees to vote for their favourite posters by assigning one to five stars to any poster until 6 pm on Thursday, June 3.
